Cougar time is fun for some people and boring for others. It can be a place where you don’t have to stress about finishing work, but some people don’t use their time wisely to get their work done. Cougar time is a place to be productive.

Khloi Gomez, an 8th grader, likes cougar time because she has fun, but she doesn’t like it as well. Sometimes cougar time can be a little time consuming when you don’t have work to do, but there are other things that you can do other than work. You can read, sleep, or if your teacher allows you to, you can talk to your friends.

“Sometimes it’s fun when you have the right teachers and people in your class. But some of my teachers are annoying,” she said. The people in your class can make a huge difference in your classes, but more importantly your teachers. Your teachers can make a big difference in your cougar time class, because they can decide on everything that you do in their classroom. They can choose if you talk or not, or if you can use the restroom.

Gomez said she would rather not have cougar time, but it is necessary sometimes. In cougar time you can get a lot of work done, but only if you use your time wisely to try to get your work done. Cougar time can be necessary to you, because you don’t have to worry about not having time to do your work at home.

“I would rather stay and talk if I didn’t have cougar time, but overall I get more work done in cougar time,” she said. Most people would rather stay and talk but others don’t have time to do their work. You can also ask your teacher for help and do any unfinished tests or quizzes in other classes. Cougar time can most likely help anyone.
