Halloween is always a fun holiday to celebrate. You can dress up as whatever character you want and get free candy. It’s also a great time to hang out with friends and family by watching movies with them, or going trick-or-treating with them.

Every Halloween I go trick-or-treating with my friends. Last year, I went with my friends Anissa, Julia, Seth, and Emma. This year I went with just Julia and Anissa. I was dressed up with a sheet as a ghost, Julia was an alien, and Anissa was a banana.

Right before we started trick-or-treating, it started to rain really hard. We were kind of bummed out, but we decided that we were still going to go trick-or-treating to get free candy. Since our costumes were kind of getting in the way, we decided to just take them off and go in our normal clothes. People understood and laughed when we told them our costumes got ruined in the rain.

It got dark really fast, but we still had a long way to go. There weren’t as many people giving out candy since they thought everybody went inside, but there were still a lot of people giving out candy.

At one point I was starting to get really hungry, but I didn’t feel like eating candy yet. Then we went to this house and the guy there was giving out bags of chips. I was so relieved and happy. We went to my friend Emma’s house and hung out there for a little bit, and then decided to go trick-or-treat again.

When we got outside, no one was there. Everybody was done giving out candy and trick-or-treating. We were going to try to walk around for a little longer, but we decided to just go home. Once we got home, we traded our candy until Julia and Anissa left.

Halloween was really fun this year. Although it rained pretty hard, it was still really exciting. Hopefully next year will be even better.
