Halloween means a various amount of things to me. It can mean you get to spend time with family, friends or just chilling by yourself in your room watching scary movies. Some people celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). It all depends on what you chose to do. Day of the Dead is basically where you celebrate the death of loved ones or people you were close to. It’s very colorful with many flowers, candy skulls and really good food.

When I celebrate Halloween I try to make plans with my friends and if I don’t have plans I’ll hang out with my grandma and pass out candy with her. Halloween means to me that you can dress up as anything you want. Your favorite superhero, your idol, literally anything you want to be for that time period. You can change everything and anything you want.

To be with family or your friends to me is probably one of the most important things to me. You get to make more memories and just bond with the people who are important to you. It means that you can just overall have a great time with great people.
