I have a multitude of things to be thankful for as I have a very happy, blessed life. I know this situation is not the same for everyone else around the world, so that’s why I’m going to be writing this article.
The first thing I’m thankful for is me and my family’s safety. With my dad in the military and him having and/or doing very dangerous jobs, I’m extremely thankful for him being safe and alive to this day. I’m also very thankful for my whole family’s general safety, with the amount of terrorist attacks happening in Europe and the United States in the past year(s), I’m extremely thankful for their overall well-being and good health.
Another thing I’m thankful for is the rich, full-filling experiences I’ve had the past years of my life. From touring Europe and different part of the United States it has satisfied the traveling bone in my body for a long time still to come. From going to Germany and eating Wiener-Schnitzel to being in Cornwall and having fresh, delicious, and perhaps the best fish and chips ever to going to see towering, awe-inspiring castles in Denmark, I’d say that is one thing that I was thankful for.
The next thing on my list that I’m thankful for is the opportunities presented in my life. The opportunities that has presented my Dad with one of the most unique jobs that is in the military, has affected my whole family with a wide range of opportunities which have included things ranging from: Meeting the head of the British Air Force (R.A.F) twice, Getting to fly in a plane that served and fought Japan in WW2, and Me in my R.A.F cadet uniform helping my father lay memorial to the veterans of WW1 and WW2. This is what I’m extremely thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving and God bless everyone!
