Thanksgiving is a time to love and be thankful for what you have. I myself, including others are thankful for many things. I am thankful for the wonderful clothes that I am blessed to have also  for a roof over my head and a place to sleep and to have awesome food to eat but I’m very thankful for my parents and friends and family who love me very much and support me for what I do.

In my family we usually go to my grandmas house in Louisiana with my cousins and we cook for the whole family but this year my family is coming to Texas which is 12 people in a two story house so it’s going to be packed. This year my mom had organized my family to wear pajamas on Thanksgiving so that’s going to be a lot of fun. For food my mom and my dad usually cooks but since my dad Is away In Korea for the military my mom is cooking this year. This year she’s making shrimp balls, stuffed bell peppers, macaroni, turkey and glazed ham. My mom loves to decorate for the holidays, this year her theme is red because she likes apples the reason why she likes apples is because It reminds her of home.

After we eat we usually get ready for the Black Friday sales or we watch a movie. Last year in Louisiana we watched “Boo! A Madea Halloween”. To end the night we usually talk about what we are thankful for.

Thanksgiving is about celebrating and being thankful for the people you love. You should always be thankful for what you have because some people might not have the things you have.
