Thanksgiving is almost here, and what most people forget is that it was a holiday made to be thankful for everything and everyone that is in our lives, and people also forget to thank them.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for so many things, that it’s almost too hard to count! To start off, I am thankful that I have a loving mom, dad, and a home that I can go to every day, but it makes me sad that some other people can’t say the same things, yet that is what makes me even more thankful.

Another thing that I am thankful for is that I can wake up in a comfy bed, in my own room, and I am appreciative that I have clothes to wear and food to eat. Even though I don’t always like school, I am glad and thankful that I have had a chance to go to school and receive an education, and then eventually get a diploma and a degree.

I am grateful that my dad has a job with a truck, and my mom has a car that she can pick me up in every day after school. I also appreciate that I have a family that can visit me and that we can visit them too.

I am glad that I have a phone, supplies, movies, and I am even thankful that I have access to any of these things. I’m grateful for my friends and that we have enough power to overcome the little fights we have.

All in all, I am thankful for pretty much everything and everyone in my life, but the people that I am most grateful are my parents because they take care of me and love me with all of their heart.
