Personal View: What I’m Thankful For

There are many things that I’m thankful for, but sadly, I can’t name all of them on this one page. Here are a few things that I am thankful for, I am thankful for my family, my friends, the clothes I have, the house I live in, and the food on the table. Those are just a few things that I’m thankful for, but those are the most important things to me.

More specifically, I’m thankful for my mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, and my many siblings, five brothers, two sisters to be exact, three sisters if I was counting myself, eight all together.. Yes it’s a handful dealing with them, but they’re my family, and I have to love them. Sadly, I can’t see all of my enormous family at the same time this year at Thanksgiving dinner, but I’m sure that would be very hectic, but extremely fun at the same time.

Very specifically, I’m thankful for my parents. Without them, I wouldn’t be here right now, and I wouldn’t have all of the wonderful things that I have either, like the school I go to, the phone that I play on, all of the nice art supplies that I use, the bed I sleep on, those are just a couple of things that I wouldn’t have without my parents.

I’m thankful for my many, many siblings, just as much as I’m thankful for my parents. Without my siblings, I would most likely be bored out of my mind just wishing that I did have siblings. Without my siblings, I wouldn’t have anyone to compete with in an argument. I wouldn’t have anyone to mess with. And I wouldn’t be the same without them, and they wouldn’t we the same without me.

I’m thankful for the many friends that I’ve made in the past couple of years. I’ve met some of my really good friends in Alaska at school. And I’ve also made a lot of good friends here in Texas. Sadly I can no longer just walk down the street to go say hi to the friends in Alaska, but I do try and stay in touch with them over the phone, but that’s been kind of hard lately because of school, and homework, and everything else.

Truly, I am thankful for my family, my friends, and all of the things that I have, and I’m writing this because I want to show them how much that they really mean to me, and because it’s kind of part of my grade, but besides all of that, I really do appreciate all of my wonderful family, and friends.
