Personal View: What I am Thankful For

I am thankful for the food that’s on my plate at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I am thankful for my loving family that’s supported me since day one and will help me achieve my goals no matter how bizarre they may be. I’m thankful for my brother, because even though we never talk to each other I still love him and he loves me.. I think. I’m also thankful for the good grades my teachers have given me. Also how they’ve explained things that I didn’t understand or problems I couldn’t solve.
I’m thankful for a lot of things, but mostly for my mom and dad. They have given me a gift that is more special and more meaningful than the rest. They gave me the gift of life and I will always love and cherish them for that. I’m thankful for my mom who has worked hard as a single mother to get her college degree with an infant and child to feed. She always kept a happy household no matter how sad and devastating our fate could be.
I’m thankful for my dad who I don’t get to see a lot, but when I do I love how he brings a smile to my brother’s face, especially 3 weeks ago when we visited him. My brother has never smiled, at least when he’s out of his room, so it was nice to see him happy, even if it was only for a couple of hours. I’m thankful for my Step-Dad who’s like a dad to me and I’m thankfil that he’s so calm and understanding no matter what situation he or I’m in.
I’m thankful for all those wonderful things that has made my life the way it is. I will never forget what my mom, dad, and Step-Dad has done for me. Although, I’m still thankful for all my friends at Dobie and how it’s been a wonderful semester so far. I still don’t like school, but my friends make me want to wake up each and every day. These are all of the things I’m thankful for.
