Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was released on November 17, 2017 as installment to the pokemon series. It was an addition to Pokemon Sun and Moon with new pokemon, new ultra beasts and a new threat called Rainbow Rocket. It has all the past Villains including Maxie and Archie From Ruby And Sapphire and Giovanni. It added a new fusion pokemon called Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wing Necrozma. They are fusions of the last games legendaries and The legendary pokemon Necrozma. There is also a new way to  hunt rare pokemon through wormholes.

People say the best thing about the new games are the new pokemon. Players say it’s harder than the previous ones at the beginning because of the trainer school final boss has e starter that is super effective to the one you picked. One person Chloe Ramsey said ”If there isn’t professor Oak I don’t want it”.

Throughout the game there is a lot to do outside battle unlike its original Sun and Moon. it has more mini games, more pokemon to collect, and a brand new way to shiny hunt. It is a wormhole, the way it works is the further light years you go the higher chance it is you find a rare pokemon such as a shiny pokemon or a legendary. In order to catch all the ultra beast and legendaries you need both games just like all the others. In both games you can get Suicune, Rayquaza,Giratina, Kyurem, and Landorus with specific legendary pokemon from Ultra sun or Ultra moon.

Why people might not like these new game are because they didn’t expect it. Most were expecting a Generation 4 Diamond and pearl remakes with the new models and animations. They were expecting More mega evolution to more pokemon. Most people also expecting evolutions of weaker pokemon. Some people also were expecting better animations and pokemon designs. Some people were hoping to the player could go back to Kanto and win all 8 gym badges beat the Elite 4. Others were hoping for a pokemon game that included all the pokemon regions in one game. You would get to pick which region you  start off in. the following regions are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, And Alola.

In general the games to most were really well developed and straightforward. The games didn’t have some of the functions that the games have now, Like the wonder trading, GTS, pokemon care introduced in X & Y in 2013. Back then you had to trade with people normally and in person  same thing for link battles. Now we can trade with people all over the world and battle with people you might not know.
