Fortnite is a co-op survival game first introduced on July 25. It can be found on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC coming in September. The game has become so popular that there have been over 30 million accounts created. You can play single-player, or multiplayer. You can also play with your friends online!

This game allows up to four players and is rated “T” for teens. It is set in a contemporary earth were a storm has lead to most of the population disappearing.  Zombie creatures come to attack the remainder of the humans left. Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, have just recently put out a new update where you can play on all new maps. This added five combat areas to the game.“I was so hyped and excited that I yelled and got my phone taken away,” said Olivia McBride.

Fortnite is known to people as a cross between Minecraft and Left 4 Dead, mostly because it mixes the survival aspect and the zombie-like creatures. Olivia also added, “ No, it has nothing from Minecraft.” In the game you can construct traps and weapons to engage in combat with the zombie creatures. Players gain rewards throughout the missions that can be used to improve their characters. You can purchase upgrades in game to make playing more fun.
