Personal View: What I did for spring break

Spring break, that random week off of school where we can visit with family, travel, jump ahead an hour, and more. Personally, I like spring break because it gives me something to look forward to after the main holidays have passed.

Over my spring break, I did a little bit of everything. On Saturday, the first day off from school, two of my friends came over and we had a sleepover. We stayed up all night watching Netflix, eating snacks, and talking. Then on Sunday, they stayed most of the day and we continued to watch movies, until they left at around 5:00.

I got back some sleep Sunday night, and watched Netflix all day Monday, until I went to a friend’s house for another sleepover. Again, we stayed up late watching movies. The next day, we went shopping at Target, Bath and Body Works, Sephora, and a few other stores.

Wednesday, I stayed in bed on my phone, until I had to pack for my trip to Houston for my Aunt’s wedding. At 1:00 p.m., we headed out for our about 3 hour car trip, with only one quick stop at a Buc-ee’s in Katy.

Once we got there, we got settled in and then I played on the Xbox One until 1:00 a.m. The wedding wasn’t until Saturday, and we were the only ones that had came on Thursday, since everyone else wasn’t getting to Houston until late Friday night. On Friday, I played the Xbox all day, and I went out to eat at Mojo’s with my older cousin.

On Saturday morning, everyone had to wake up early to get ready for the wedding, which was at noon. After a few hours, everyone started heading down to the park. Two of my younger cousins and I held the end of the dress while my aunt was walking down the aisle.

It was a nice wedding, with pretty decorations, and it lasted until about 4:00. The cake was good, and there was a bouquet toss, along with the separate dances. After the wedding, we came back to Cibolo.

Overall, I had a good spring break. I got to play games, see my family and friends, sleep, and eat. I enjoy spring break, except for when we have to spring forward an hour.
