The United States All Star Federation, also known as USASF is hosting the annual cheer and dance world championship of 2018. This huge competition is being held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, in Orlando Florida. Over 40 countries across the world are qualifying their top teams to come and participate/compete in this once a year competition. Over 11,000 cheerleaders are competing to win world championship titles for their qualifying categories.

To me this is an extremely important event. Cheerleading means a lot to me and I enjoy doing it so  very much. Recently they have decided to include cheer in the world olympics, and this event which has been going on for years was the first big step. This sport is one of the hardest out there, even though people like to say it’s not. The work and hours even I have to put into it makes these teams competing my role models. The hard work and effort these people have done to get to this point is mind blowing, and only an experience I want to have one day.
