Mrs. Higgins is a favorite teacher among a lot of Dobie Jr. High students. She teaches eighth grade language arts, but she’s not your everyday average teacher.

She’s my favorite teacher because no matter what I know she’s always going to be there for me and other students. She makes you feel like a friend rather than a student. When you walk in to her class she always welcomes you with a smile, which makes you don’t instantly wish you were home.

She makes her classroom a fun learning environment. She finds different ways of teaching and asks for feedback. Her learning is different from most teachers which is refreshing. She adds in humor to her lessons and makes students engage with other students. I have made a lot of new friends this year thanks to her class.;’p

You know Mrs. Higgins cares about you and wants you to understand what she is teaching. She is always there to answer questions and help everyone she possibly can.
