Mrs. Hecox is my favorite teacher because she made math fun. I have always liked math but she made it even better when she filled us up with all the tricks she had to memorize math equations like y over x, or new over old if you wanna get the gold. Even though she is a math teacher she is also like a best friend, you can tell her anything and she will give you her honest opinion without judging you. She has always taught us the right way around math and life. Mrs. Hecox is the best at what she does because even though she knows that her students don’t like math they end up loving it at the end of the year.
Thorough out the year she helps us become more mature and and keeps on us about our work and being “Self Sufficient” as Mrs. Altamirano always said. This year has been heck tick but with Mrs. Hecox there is never a dull moment in her class. Not everyone will like her but that’s your opinion about her, me personally I love her. She wants the best for you and she lets you know that’s what shes here for. She wants us to learn and to grow as a individual person because she believes we can do better if we just try.
Thanks you Mrs. Hecox for being there for me when I needed it and making learning math a bearable subject this year. If it wasn’t for you I would not have passed the 8th grade, and now I know way more than I thought I would have learned this year.
Other than being my math teacher you have become very helpful to me. I know you deal with a lot of students each day, but you always have time to talk no matter what it is bad or good, as bad as it was hearing the truth it was also good to know that someone cared for me. So I thank you Mrs. Hecox for everything that you have done for me and all of your students.
