Dear editor,

The press should have rights and freedom of speech and its important because everyone should know about what’s happening in the government. Trump is trying to shut down a lot of news and the press. He doesn’t like the press because he basically wants to be the press and tell the news. I think that there should be press because there is always another side of every story and we should have the right to do the news.

The reason Trump doesn’t want a press is because he does not like what they are saying he says (they are fake news) . Journalists are not classified as fellow Americans, but rather “the enemy of the people.In my opinion I think that the press is a good thing and should not go away.
