The Inside Look on Dobie Journalism: Personal View
The journalism team writes about other people, events, topics, and so forth. So no one gets the inside look on the ones that write the paper or take the pictures. Until now.
This is where we take ourselves out and focus on other things. Get the outside look in.
We don’t go to the middle east to report live on the the scene like other brave Journalists do. Instead we report from here in San Antonio. Or maybe a place we’re visiting. Like Mrs. PJ, the Journalism and Yearbook teacher said, “We should always be reporting”.
You need a teacher that’s nice but keeps you on task and makes sure you get your work done. Journalism is a whole lot of fun but sometimes you have to focus and be serious. You have concentrate on the task at hand and get it done quickly. Deadlines are very important in any class.
In Journalism you work hard and have fun. Us cougars read ‘The New York Times’ and usually have an easy daily grade like saying what we did over the weekend or what we’re looking forward to. With summer drawing near we get articles in and meet those deadlines!
“It’s really cool because I get to express my feelings through writing,” said Renee Williams, 7th grader. We are approaching the end and I must say, it has been a great year.
