Being in the military can be extremely difficult. My cousin’s husband was in the military for over a year and they had to move to North Carolina while she was 8 months pregnant. I am very proud of all the people serving in the military, and hope that everyone makes it home to their families safe and sound.

Training in the military can be a challenge . First they have to go through Boot Camp which is basic combat training. They transform civilians into strong and brave soldiers. The next time you see someone who is in the military, make sure to thank them for what they do for our country.

There are seven branches in the military.

  • The United States Army ,is the land warfare service branch of the united states armed forces.
  • The United States Marine Corps, trained for land, sea, and aerial combat.
  • The United States Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the united states.
  • The United States Air Force is primarily responsible for air warfare, air defense ,and the development of military space research.
  • The United States Coast Guard is responsible for an array of maritime duties, from ensuring safe and lawful commerce to performing rescue missions in severe conditions.
