My favorite teacher is my science teacher, Mrs. Reed and she is by far the best teacher that I have ever had. She has the ability to make a subject that some students find incredibly boring come to life through her enthusiasm and passion for science and her love of being a teacher. Going to her class puts a cherry on top of my day.

In her lessons, science does not mean copying out of textbooks and writing pages and pages of notes. Science is alive; science is something real, that you can see, hear and feel, as we live it through labs and projects.

Mrs. Reed is also very caring to all her students; one time when I went to her classroom I  was having a very bad day. But then she said something to the whole class that really stood out to me, and even if she didn’t know that she lightened up my day; I really appreciate her for it.

Although I only have one year of classes with her, she will have an important place in my heart, because there has never been a teacher able to bring a subject to life in quite the same way she does.
