Dear Editor,

I strongly feel that freedom of press is important because different people have different views on life. Also if the government were to control the press it would mainly be filled with propaganda. Next President Donald Trump believes that the press is bad and is a problem in the United States. Again the press has a major influence on the people because they will always show both sides of a matter.

Journalists do a variety of things with the media like keeping the people up to date and getting an inside perspective of a situation. Also being a journalist has fun aspects like getting to take pictures of people and recording important things going on. Then after we record our information we can involve others opinions and our own on a subject.
