Dear Editor,

 

Freedom of the press is what separates us from other countries like North Korea, cuba and a lot more a free press together allow people to obtain information from a wide range of sources that are not dictated or restricted by the government freedom of the press.

 

The right to circulate opinions in print without censorship by the government. Americans enjoy freedom of the press under the First Amendment

 

The first amendment to the Constitution says: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble

 

The first amendment in a more simple way is The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and right to petition

 

The five basic freedoms of the first amendment are

          : Freedom of Religion.

            :Freedom of Speech.

           :Freedom of the Press.

:Freedom to Assemble Peaceably.

:Freedom to Petition the Government for a Redress of Grievances.
