Thomas Luther Bryan, also known as Luke Bryan, is one of the most famous country singers in the world. He first started his career for country music with his parents influential record collection. He got into country music when he got his first guitar for his 14th birthday and he began writing and singing songs throughout his high school years.

Bryan had a dream to move out to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his singing career, until his brother Chris and sister Kelly got into an accident and died in 1996 and 2007. The song Drink A Beer in his Crash My Party album was dedicated for them). Bryan was devastated and put his career on hold to stay close to his family and enrolled to Georgia Southern University. Brian kept busy working on his father’s peanut farm and playing with a new band around his campus and in local bars. Soon into college year of 2006, Bryan got married to his beloved wife Caroline Boyer on December 8th.

His father started seeing his son’s dream slip, so to get him back on track, he told him to pack up and move to Nashville or he was fired, so Bryan did just that.

In the summer of 2007 he released his first major record “I’ll say me” and two years later “doin’ my thing came out”. Both albums reached number two on country charts.

He also produced two number one country singles, “Rain is a Good Thing” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby”. Bryan quickly became famous, winning a nomination for top male vocalists.

“I Don’t Want This Night To End” and “Drunk On You” both hit number one on Country Charts in 2013. Later that year he released his 4th studio album Crash My Party which hit number one on both Country and Pop charts. Late August 2015 Bryan released his 5th studio album, Kill The Lights.

Many people love Bryan not just for his looks but they also love him for his amazing lyrics, voice and his ability to bring up people by just his wonderful songs.

“Play It Again and I Don’t Want This Night To End are my favorite songs because the lyrics make me happy,” said Haylie Laws, seventh grader.

Sadly, many people think country music is just about riding on a tractor and growing crops, when in reality country songs talk about death and love. “I feel that he is underappreciated because a lot of people hate country music, but even if you do hate it, his voice is just amazing,” said Laws.
