Good Day,
My name is Carson Wolbert and I am an 8th grader at Dobie Jr. High School.
“Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.” John F. Kennedy.
So far, I have found that Dobie is a good school for me and I really like it here. The teachers here are really nice and relaxed compared to England, where work was the main priority, not having a good time. My goals to accomplish during this school year are:
I want to make the Dobie Soccer A or B team because I really love soccer and I basically can’t live without it. In England, soccer was like a second life. Soccer tournaments would be held almost every month, and there are so many registered teams in England. I already swim for the YMCA in Schertz, and I want to pursue that career more too.
The second goal I want to accomplish at Dobie this year is that I want to do really well in Honors Science. I really like science and I think it is my favorite class. I really like Mr. Viera too because he is funny and a nice guy in general.
When I get to Steele, I want to graduate and join the military, because my dad is in the Air Force, and we are stationed at Randolph.
It was nice to share this experience with y’all in Texas. I wish the best of luck to whom may be reading this at this time.
