My School Goals
September 10, 2019
Hello. My name is Aubrey Thompson, I am an 8th grader at Dobie. So far my school year has been going great, I have nice and amazing teachers. My teachers make learning easy and fun so I understand things a lot more than I did last year. Last year I was inducted into NJHS. To stay in NJHS, I have to get a 90 or above in my classes but also show citizenship, service, leadership, and character to my school and out of my school.
The National Junior Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
My goals for the year are, to pass with a 90 to 100, get over 30 hours of community service hours, have a positive attitude throughout the year, to help others when they need help, and to pass all my tests. To achieve my goals I am going to pay attention to my teachers when they are teaching, ask questions when I do not understand things, and make sure to listen to others when they are talking to me.
Here’s to another excellent and last year at Dobie!
