My Amazing Summer

Hello my name is Hailey Gorzell, and I am a 7th grader at Dobie Jr High.This summer I went to Disney World. My dad, mom and I stayed at Port New Orleans and went to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. I looked down at the clouds as we began to descend into Tampa, Florida. The airplane hit the runway at full speed as we landed. We stopped at McDonald’s on our way to the hotel, and it was shockingly really good, since we were really hungry after our flight. The resort looked just like New Orleans and was Princess and the Frog themed. There was a huge pool and we went swimming and I went on the sea dragon water slide. I drifted off to sleep dreaming about the next day. My family and I went to Animal Kingdom the day after. It was so much fun! We watched drummers play, went on Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, and my personal favorite Pandora: Flight of Avatar. Also, there was a safari and The Lion King festival. At Magic Kingdom we went on the Haunted Mansion ride and we went on The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and ate delicious cinnamon rolls at Gaston’s Tavern. We ate lunch at a Robot restaurant in Tomorrowland. We also we on the Transit Authority Peoplemover and got to meet Merida from Brave. My family and I went on Splash Mountain and I screamed so loud when we went over the drop, it was so much fun! 

After, Disney World we went to Clearwater beach in the same vacation! My dad, mom, and I went for her work conference. It was a nice week long vacation including Disney World. The sand was white and the water was crystal clear. The water was warm, salty, and light blue in color. We ate at the original Hooters, I got wings and they were super good and they were lemon pepper my favorite. After, we went to the airport, got on the airplane and left to come back home.

We also went to Lake LBJ in our RV. The place we stayed at was Sunset Point in Marble Falls. We went to Penderlas Falls and we went swimming and hiking down by the falls. My family and I also ate at Fish City Grill and Blubonnet cafe. I got catfish at Fish City Grill and a piece of pie at Bluebonnet cafe for dessert. My sisters, my dad, my mom, and I had so much fun! The water was perfect and we had lots of fun on that amazing trip.
