Many people don’t get enough exercise. Exercising benefits your health, but mostly your heart. To be healthier, experts say that you need to believe in yourself, move more and eat right — generally take good care of your physical and mental wellness.
Ariyanna Hughes is an 8th grader at Dobie jr High. “I practice during athletics to stay in physical strength,” said Hughes.
Not many people want to exercise because they are too lazy or they just don’t want to. According to Global sports matters, “More than a quarter of adults across the world don’t get a
sufficient amount of exercise. Less than 23% of Americans don’t get enough exercise. The benefits of exercising is that it can improve your muscle strength in your body. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your body.”
Improving Patient Experience – Compassionate Healthcare states, “Reducing stress in your everyday life is vital for maintaining your overall health, as it can improve your mood, there are many ways to improve your health you just don’t know how to find them. There is exercising, eating small foods, running marathons, etc. About more than 1.6 million people run marathons every year.
Getting healthier doesn’t have to start with anything major. Shelby evanger is an 8th grader at Dobie Jr. High. She says, “I walk my dog everyday so that we both can get exercise.”
According to Yoga Statistics: Staggering Growth Shows Ever-increasing: “There are thought to be 300 million yoga practitioners worldwide. Between 2012 and 2016 the number of Americans doing yoga grew by 50%. Approximately one in three Americans have tried yoga at least once.”

Most people think exercising is boring and difficult but most would disagree. According to Exercise Is Wise (for Teens) – KidsHealth “Exercising causes the body to make chemicals that can help a person to feel good about themselves.” It can also help some people who have mild depression and low self-esteem.”
