Personal view: A Quarantine Interview with my grandma
I interviewed my grandmother Linda Toliver about Covid 19 and the whole quarantine situation.
- Q: How has your overall quarantine been and why?
- A: “It has been fine, I’ve been wearing my masks and gloves to keep clean, and I’ve been washing my hands a lot and keeping distance from others.”
- Q: What have you been doing to keep yourself busy?
- A: “I’ve been coming home and washing clothes, cooking my own meals instead of going to fast food places, and going to the grocery store 2 times a month to get out and get what I need.”
- Q: DO you believe that this will last into the summer and why?
- A: “I think it will, because some people aren’t doing what they are supposed to do and are exposing others to it. And people aren’t following all the social distancing rules.”
- Q: How do you think the whole Covid 19 thing started?
- A: “I think it’s something that was spreading around in the air or a bat that had a flu type of virus came in contact with people.”
- Q: What do you think it’s going to take for the U.S. to get past Covid 19?
- A: “We all have to keep our distance and keep practicing hygiene as well as use sanitation products to keep our stuff clean.”
- Q: Do you enjoy the whole quarantine thing or do you not like it and why?
- A: “I don’t enjoy it at all, but I do believe that it is the right thing to do because it is helping us get through and past the virus.”
