The stock show and rodeo has enough activities for a family fun, filled day. Activities such as the carnival, the small shops, concerts, bull riding, you could even pet the animals, watch the stock show, and so much more. Its definitely a perfect getaway for a day with your family. All ages are invited.

“The carnival is so huge, i love the carnival because i get to spend time with my friends and family and have a great time,” said Nia Mcpherson, 8th grader.

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is proud to welcome one of the largest carnival providers in the United States. Wade Shows, provides a variety of rides from extreme to mild in order to satisfy rodeo patrons of all ages. Grounds admission does include entry to the carnival!!!

Shop till you drop at ‘The Shops at the Rodeo’s marketplaces,where over two hundred-fifty  themed retailers showcase their wares in climate controlled venues. “Shopping at the rodeo is my favorite thing to do there because I get a chance to see new gadgets and clothes  that people have to offer,” said Kara Posy, 8th grader.

There are three locations around the grounds including inside Freeman Coliseum, Expo Hall, and Expo Hall 2. Numerous hand-selected vendors showcase items such as home furnishings, accessories, leather goods, agricultural related items, equipment, custom boots, clothing and jewelry. There is something for all tastes.

2017 is a new year which means new entertainment! This event will put bullfighters, sometimes referred to as Rodeo clowns, to the test for seventy seconds to impress the judges with their skill to outwit an agile bull. The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will be the first Rodeo in many years to host a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Freestyle Bullfight event.

“I love coming to the rodeo every year because they always have something new, cool,and entertaining,” said Gracie Richard, 8th grader. “Every year they manage to bring new performers to the rodeo and it’s awesome!”

Every year the San Antonio Stock Show And Rodeo bring new artist to preform amazing concerts.There aren’t only country artist if county isn’t your thing. Much like Fifth Harmony but if u your a country lover  then you will love to know there is many country artist. Such as The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Chris Young, Sam Hunt and much much more.
