Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14th every year and is commonly known as the “Day of Love”. Dating back to the third century, it is named after Saint Valentine who was a roman saint. He sent letters to his lover even though it was forbidden. This showed how much he cared and loved her, it then created Valentine’s Day.
“For Valentine’s Day, I got stuffed animals, sweethearts, and chocolates,” says Briahnah Fischer, 8th grader at Dobie Junior High.
