Thanksgiving almost here

The 24th of November is a day of family, pumpkins, and turkey eating. It’s Thanksgiving! People all over the world celebrate Thanksgiving every year.

It’s the day where families come together and spend time with each other. Some throw around the football, Some watch football, and some just bake all day until it’s time for the turkey carving.

There are some events you can go to around Thanksgiving. For example there’s an event that takes place on Thanksgiving morning at 9 a.m. called the HEB Holiday Parade. Its in Houston, TX and it has been happening there for around 6 decades now. And there’s marching bands, Floats, and live performances.

You don’t have to go anywhere though. You can just stay at home and enjoy your family. “I got to my great uncle’s house in New Braunfels in the morning.

We are suppose to eat at 1 p.m. but we end up eating later. He has a smoker though so he cooks briskets and stuff before thanksgiving so his whole backyard ends up smelling like Bar-B-Q. And family comes over and we all just eat and spend time with each other,” said M’Kenzie Daniels.

Just spend time with your family and eat some turkey. Do whatever you feel comfortable doing with your family. And have a fun time.
