It’s that time of year again when snow would’ve started to fall if we weren’t in Texas. Snow or no snow, it is still time for the Winter Dance.

Every year, the Dobie’s Student Council hosts a few dances. The Winter Dance will be Friday, December 9th from 6-9 pm. The theme is Winter Wonderland and the attire is semi – formal.  

The talk around the school is, who is everyone going to the dance with? It’s most every girl’s dream to get asked to the dance, but is it necessary?

Kalea Ajel, 7th grader, doesn’t think so. “No, because people who don’t get asked will feel left out,” she said. “Maybe when we get to high school we can get asked, but right now it’s not really necessary.”

Jasmine Chapman agrees with Ajel. “I don’t think you should be forced to ask people to the dance,” she said.
