The Originals is a breathtaking Netflix series. The Originals centers on Niklaus Mikaelson and the Original Family of vampires, as he makes his returns to the supernatural crucible that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former apprentice Marcel. “This show makes me feel so amazing like it makes me feel like it’s right in front of me or like i’m on the set of the show.” Said Lee The show will happen to feature two new characters who are witches, as well as a human female named Camille who is a psychology student fascinated by the study of Human Behavior. Cami is allured to the aberration of the French Quarter, resolute on answering the unanswerable question – what makes someone evil?

“My favorite character is probably Stefan, Damon, or Klaus, I like these characters because they stand out, There’s just something about them that i just love nothing specific,” Said Alexis Lee, 7th grader. The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries which centers around the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).”I like that The Originals is everything I’ve always wanted to watch in one Netflix series, and that the characters are so close to where they seem like they hate each other but they really don’t,” Said Lee.

The backdoor pilot, which aired on April 25, 2013, also revealed that the werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is pregnant with Klaus’s child and would, therefore, join the cast. The show begins with the original siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919.

Having originally built the city, they had been forced to flee from their vengeful father. In their absence, Klaus’s protégé, Marcel (Charles Michaell Davis), took charge of the city. Klaus resolves that they must take down Marcel and get back the city that once belonged to them. While doing that they must also protect their city from a war brewing between vampires, werewolves and witches.

Over time new and old friendships are formed, love is in the air, death surrounds them and most of all they learn more about their own family past. “My friend introduced me to the originals in February and I’ve been hooked ever since,” Said Christine Leos 7th grader. The 2nd season, describes how Klaus’s mystical child is going to be born and speaks of the threats that all of the family together must keep away from her. The 3rd season shows the Mikaelsons facing a prophecy that speaks of their fall.

“If i could change anything about the show i would change is how Bonnie and Alena’s lives are linked together,” said Leos. Could Klaus and Marcel be forming a reluctant alliance after the last episode of “The Originals” Season 4? It may be so when both the sire and his “son” are both caught in Dark Magic cast by The Hollow. The Originals a family of power-hungry thousand year old vampires look to take back the city that they built and dominate all those who have done them wrong.
