Coach Head is the coach for the Girls soccer team at Dobie. The spring season had a season record of 2-4-1.

“For our first season, they did great. We improved everyday and we got better,” said Coach Head.

The team is both 7th and 8th grade girls. This is the first year they have had a soccer team at Dobie. They won 2 games.

“The season was very fun and challenging,” said Bethany Castillo, 8th grader. “We had a very good team and the season was very exciting because playing against other schools was really fun.”

The girls lost 4 games and tied 1 game. “My favorite moment was when I found out I made the team. I was so excited! The season has really been fun,” said Aysia James, 8th grader.

“We are both good at defense. We made up a name and everything for each other,” said Anika Barajas, 8th grader when talking about Tyshe Tyson, 8th grader.

The girls overall had a good season, and hope to improve in the next upcoming years.
