The Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” was really sad and it made me cry as I was watching the episodes about Hannah, a young teen who makes the decision to take  her own life. It was sad how bad her life was and how she dealt with it.

Hannah, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Justin, Bryce, Alex, Zach, Tyler, Lainie are some of the characters.

Two weeks after Hannah’s death, a former classmate named Clay finds a box on his porch. Inside the box are recordings made by Hannah on who Clay had a crush on.

On the tapes, Hannah explains the 13 reasons why she chose to commit suicide. Clay decides to listen to the recordings,and he finds out the reasons why.

The series is set in a town called Crestmont. The show has 13 episodes for the 13 tapes that Hannah records herself as she is going through her tragic and depressing life like a diary.

Hannah goes through a lot of events that some teens in the world are going through and or have been through,so this series might be relatable to some people who have watched it.

“I thought that it had a bunch of plot twist and that it’s really emotional and it leaves you on the edge of your seat,” said Haley Plutzer, 8th grader.

Other students found it sad, too but they couldn’t resist tuning in to watch the show. “When I was watching the show I was very eager to watch more to figure out why she killed herself,” said Jessica Thompson, 11th grader.
