Hello, my name is Camden.  I’m in 8th grade and I’m from King George, Virginia. I moved here to San Antonio just a couple weeks ago. Why, you ask? Well, my grandparents live here and my mother and father recently just split. The rest is too personal.

I was born and raised in Virginia but every summer I get to New Jersey  were my mom’s side of the family is from. Some of my hobbies are dancing and cheer. I like doing these activities because they  make me feel free. When I grow up I want to be a fashion designer I believe that fashion expresses who you are.

I was very upset when  I came home from school and my mom told me we were moving. It’s really hard for me to overcome things. I miss all my friends and my school a lot, my friends are like family to me so it hurts that I left.

Now, I’m a student at Dobie Junior High; it’s interesting so far. When I first got here, I got a tour of the school and it’s huge!

On my first day, I met these two nice girls and I ate lunch with them and they made me feel welcomed. So far, I like this school and I hope to get to know more people by the end of the year.
