My name is Aaliyah Scafe and I am an 8th grader at Dobie Junior High. I am going to be telling you about my summer. So in June I stayed home and did some chores, and also watched TV. It was fun because I got to stay inside and not have to go to school. At the end of June I had to start packing because I was going to my grandparent’s house.

On July 4th my sister and I went to the airport to go up to New Jersey to see family. Also my cousins came to New Jersey and we had a blast. When we were there we went to Six Flags, Hershey Park, and the swimming pool. Hershey Park is in Hershey, Pennsylvania and there is a lot of chocolate there. When we went to Six Flags we went on the Harley Quinn Crazy  Train Ride, Skull Mountain, and The Joker Ride. We didn’t ride a lot of rides because it start raining bad, and at the end of July we went to Florida for a cruise.

In the beginning of August, I was in Florida because my family and I was going on a cruise. While we were in Florida we went to Miami and got to see the beach. Also from a distance you could see the cruise boats. When we went to the port to get on the boat, we had to wait a few hours because the people on the boat had to get off and clean the rooms. While we were at sea for 2 days I went to the arcade and got a lot of tickets to get prizes. I went to the arcade a lot it was fun. I went on the water slides only a few times because I do not like to play in water a lot.

We went to Cozumel, Honduras, Belize, and some other places. When we got off the boat, we went to the airport so we could go back home in Texas. When we got back home I start cleaning my room because I had a little bit of stuff on the floor. Then, after that i went back to doing chores, watching TV, and staying home. Those two weeks went by fast because as soon as I knew it, it was time to go to school. And that is how my amazing summer went.
