Ashleigh Garcia
My name is Ashleigh Garcia. I am a 8th grader at Dobie. This year I am taking journalism, art, and theatre. I joined journalism because I love writing stories. I wrote my own book in the fourth grade called The Hundred Doors. I’m also in dance after school, I take ballet, lyrical, and jazz. I've been dancing at Amy’s All Star dance studio for three years. My favorite subject is math. I was never good at math as a young kid but something clicked in my brain that one day in 6th grade math class and I've been good at math ever since. I also dream of becoming an elementary school teacher.
