Hi my name is Ashley Dougherty,  and I'm  in the 8th grade at Dobie Jr. High School. My favorite core class is social studies  because it’s very interesting to me. I like learning about the history of the state I live in or just the U.S in general . Outside of school, you can find me at the gym or at practice, listening to rap music (I prefer Polo G. He's my favorite), or doing schoolwork . I enjoy journalism because I love writing, taking photos  and I wanted to practice getting better. My favorite topics to write about are politics and sports, but I like writing about everything.
